Wedding Planning 101. You just got engaged, now what?
Happy Tuesday you B.eatiful people! I hope your Tuesday morning is going amazingly so far.
You just got engaged and its the most exciting time in your life. Congrats on the big day and the crazy adventure you are about to go on. Now take a deep breath! Wedding Planning can feel pretty overwhelming at first. Even if you have hired professionals to help out it can still be pretty dang stressful. Maybe you’re working with a tight budget, or maybe you are bound and determined to go the DIY route. It’s going to be hard but it is totally doable so don’t worry. It just takes some organization, patience, and a really big wedding folder to keep everything on track and hold all of your big ideas.
When working with brides the first thing they always talk about is their budget. Obviously, whether you are paying for the wedding yourself or your parents/family are helping it is so important before you do anything else to SET A BUDGET. Your budget will be the main factor for many of the wedding-related decisions you are about to make, so this should be one of the first things you figure out.
- Bride tip #1: Create your list of must-haves. Figure out what your priorities are straight away. Is it photography, the dress, the venue, etc? Alloting the most money to your top priorities will help you see exactly what you are spending on what and help you stay within your budget.
