It has been a while since I last posted on the blog. If you didn’t already know I have been busy growing a human the past 9 months ha ha. Walker J.Terry was born on August 2nd 2017 and we couldn’t be more in love.
It blows my mind how fast things change and how many new baby must haves come out each year. I had my last baby 2.5 yrs ago and I was shocked at all the things I found myself having to have for little man.
There are things I forgot I didn’t like but I discovered so many fun things I wish I would of known about with my girls. I can’t wait to share my new favorite things with you all…
First up we have blankets from Saranoni. Holy moly these are amazing! I am a sucker for a good cuddly blanket and when I tell you these feel like clouds I am not exaggerating. Saranoni specializes in luxury and style, they definitely do not disappoint. They are already some of Walker and I’s favorites. You can find these and tons of others on their website found here —> SARANONI

Next up we have the infamous DOCKATOT… I am sure you have see these bad boys everywhere and for good reason. They are amazing! I have to have c sections with my babies so this was the perfect co-sleeper. I put it in our bed next to me and I don’t have to worry about getting up and down out of bed. I also don’t have to worry about rolling on top of him which is also a plus. A couple more thing I love about the Dock A Tot are: They come in two sizes (Deluxe for 0-8 Months, Grand 9-36 months), They are made of all natural, 100% cotton. It washes perfectly and is nice and breathable.

I am always on the hunt for stylish clothes for my kids and with Little man I wanted him to look so cute but still be nice and comfy. When I found these Jumpsuits I fell in love instantly. The idea of having a zipper instead of snaps is GENIUS! It is so much quicker and more convenient. The quality is awesome and her fabrics are so cute. If you have a little one either boy or girl I highly suggest checking her out. She will be taking pre-orders for her most popular prints tonight at 6PM MST so don’t miss it.

Now onto swaddles. Swaddles have been hit and miss with my babes. Only one has really loved being swaddled so we will see if Walker ends up being the same way. For now he is so little he likes being cuddled and squished still so this has been awesome. I love the velcro and the elastic at the end is amazing for easy access diaper changes accessible through the opening at the bottom It’s made from custom moisture-wicking material to reduce the risk of overheating which is a huge plus in August. The infamous breast pump! Breastfeeding has been a very sensitive topic for me with my kids. I am 100% sure that trying to nurse my first baby is what triggered my PPD. So I have always been nervous about breastfeeding ever since but with little man I really really wanted to give it a try. He came out with the strongest suck and latch ever so everyone was saying oh he’s going to be the best nurser ever! Well since then I have had a staph infection and on antibiotics YAY… Thank heavens for this bad boy. The spectra s1 is my favorite thing I have invested in. Since I am having to pump and dump while I am on medicine and trying to build up my supply this pump is amazing. It is hospital grade, includes a double kit, has multiple settings and it has a rechargeable battery so you don’t have to be stuck by the wall the entire time you are pumping. I am sure you have all heard of the owlet smart sock. It the oxygen/heart rate monitor that tracks your babies vitals while he or she is sleeping and alerts you if they go below the normal range. I thought this was WAY to expensive at first I won’t lie. At $299 it is spendy but let me tell you, for an anxious mama it has been a huge help. I put it on him right before bed and I feel so much better. The alarm is LOUD so I know if something happens it will wake me up. I know there are quite a few cheaper options that track movement, but I didn’t feel as comfortable with that option. Babies don’t necessarily move when they are asleep but they could have a low heart rate or low oxygen so I like their vitals being tracked more than just movement. This cart hammock from Binxy Baby is genius! I didn’t know if I would like it at first but we went to the store to try it out and I am in LOVE! My least favorite thing when going to the store with a baby is having to lug around the giant carseat. It is heavy and takes up SO much room. This takes care of all of that. It is so convenient and fits most standard grocery store carts. This was at walmart and it fit perfect. It is safety tested so you don’t have to worry about it sliding around.
