Maddi and Bobby This cute couple was referred to me by a friend and I’m so glad they decided to book me for their formal session. These two were so much fun to shoot. Maddi and Bobby are both so sweet and genuine. These two lovebirds dated in High School and then he went on to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Shortly after his return they became engaged. And eight weeks after their engagement they were married. They were seriously so cute and their love for one another totally showed in their eyes. So sweet. Takes me back to being young and in love! Haha!
The day started with makeup and hair on Maddi. She wanted something natural looking that enhanced her features. She wanted her gorgeous auburn hair to have soft curls and pinned half up. She looked absolutely gorgeous. We then went up Logan canyon and did a “first look”. When Bobby turned around and saw Maddi my heart just melted. I got goosebumps. I love getting to witness such a special moment between two people and capturing it in my camera so that they can look back on it. We then moved on to some individual shots of the bride and groom. Eventually we ended a big willow tree, which is where we got some of my favorite shots! I think you will love them too!
One of my favorite things about doing formal sessions is getting to see all the different bouquets. I LOVE flowers and it is so fun to see so many different styles and color combinations. I was seriously in shock when Maddi told me her bouquet was made of fake flowers. I seriously could not believe it. Fake flowers sure have come a long way since I got married! I was definitely impressed. I know I said it before…but formal sessions are seriously some of my favorite. Look at the pictures below and you’ll see why!
